“SETTING. The signboard indicates Asian food inside what used to be Ricco-Renzo Galleries at the LRI Business Plaza along Nicanor Garcia Street and I wondered, as I stepped inside the restaurant recently — was this, perhaps an upscale panciteria (noodle house) that opened in this part of Makati? A glance at the menu and it is apparent that the restaurant is certainly oriented towards Asian tastes, but hardly limited to just Chinese.”

“FOOD. Under house specialties are tocino’ d baby back ribs, a bistek Tagalog of US ribeye, and a Hainanese chicken, using Hong Kong imported yellow chicken, and Hainanese fish — a whole lapu-lapu made the Hainan way, with chilli garlic and crushed ginger dips.”
