I was so fortunate enough that a long-time client of mine called and have asked me if I’m interested to render my design service for his father’s personal project — a genealogy book. I replied “Yes” since this is the first time I’ll be doing a genealogy book under my belt. And with no further delay, from concept to design execution, I present to you my latest published work “A Heritage — A Gift to the Past, Present and Future Generation: The Tagle Family of Cavite Genealogy Book”
Excerpt from the author’s note:
“The process of making the genealogy was not easy. In fact, it was painstaking. It offered, though a very interesting and inspirational reward: the personal understanding of one’s ancestry and origins.
Appreciation must be cited for indefatigable assistance provided by the staff of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Days Saints where records were retrieved. The rest of the search was done through the knocking on each door of known Tagles in Imus and nearby towns within the province of Cavite.”

And during the course of this book design production, I was able to discovered, through the documents given to me, that the 2010 presidential candidate Senator Richard “Dick” Gordon is their distant relative from the first family. Interesting, huh?

This book project is so personal to the author and it became a part of me as well. I saw the enthusiasm, the dedication and the passion in putting up this special project. This is what my core design philosophy as well — enthusiasm, dedication and passion. And am so glad that I didn’t turned it down the first time it was offered to me.
